Cherelle Jackson continues to serve marginalized, and underserved communities. This includes seniors, workers with disabilities, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Cherelle brings an ample amount of experience as a member of SEIU 1021 supporting workers. She served as the Second Secretary of COPE, Chair of Workers With Disabilities, Member of Women's Committee, AFRAM Member of LGBTQ Lavender Committee. She breathes values into working alongside members of DSA for fighting against police brutality. She founded Black Voices & Allies Leadership Committee to amplify black voices, and allies on many social issues. She's known for taking a cohort of members from San Francisco to Washington D.C to fight for Social Justice. As seen on Television NetworkUnivision Telemundo. Cherelle also serves in the California Democratic Party. She became the California Assembly District 17 ADEM. She became the Director of Communications of Justice Equity and Inclusion Committee for JEDI as well as the Vice Chair of Communications for Veterans Caucus, and Programs Chair of the Veterans Caucus.
